IHG is getting ready for the medical tourism

The English chain InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) will invest 600 millions of dollars in the country thru the next three years in 62 hotels in constructions.

During the inauguration of the Holiday Inn and suite hotel in Mexico city, which is part of the business portfolio, at south medical hospital, the president of IHG in Mexico, Jorge Apaez, recognized that we live difficult times; however, the new opening, said, that this business is focused in the health tourism, in which it hasn’t been exploited.

In Mexico, the medical tourism does have a huge potential, according to statistics, 100 millions of U.S. will be reaching retirement age in the next 30 years.
