AMAR Conference May 21st and 22th, Marquis Reforma Hotel & Spa, Mexico City

AMAR – (Mexican Association of Retirement Communities) is the first non-profit organization committed to creating a sustainable future for senior housing communities in Mexico through providing education, lobbying efforts, promotional events and networking opportunities for the benefit of those who have an interest in this dynamic industry.

AMAR was founded on June 8, 2007 to address the demographic trends in the generation of 76 million Baby Boomers who are retiring in the next few years and set the standard of excellence for the services which are required to meet the needs of this new generation of retirees. We are excited to be an on the leading edge of igniting the tremendous potential of the Senior Housing and Care industry, from 50+ Active Adult Communities, to Independent Living, and Assisted Living communities in Mexico.

Our goal is to help members develop their businesses through education, research, information, deal making and action on legislation and regulation. As a member-driven association, AMAR offers a chance for you to lead the way through committee participation in virtually any area or program activity. You'll have access to industry leaders and professionals who make this dynamic industry a success! AMAR undertook its first major event, 2B Alive Independent & Assisted Living Quality of Life Summit & Expo, in May 2008 in La Jolla, California, USA and has participated actively in both domestic and other events in the United States and Canada. We are now proud to announce that AMAR will conduct its first convention in Mexico City, DF, May 21-22, 2009.

Sincerely,
Lic. Javier Godínez Villegas
Founder and Chairman of AMAR
